Reader Bio:

My pen name is AJ (Amanda Johnson). I am a 1985 baby...that has been in a long-term love affair with romance novels of all sorts except dark dark romance (like nah go straight to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200) and historical romances (back story in a blog post). Other than those two genres I will generally try anything once.

Here are some of my reading habits: 

The plot of 365 Days is about as dark romance as I want to read, I got no problem with spicy but when Beauty and the Beast never grow throughout the book or series then I will often pass.

I tend to discover a book and then read others by the same author because I know that I will generally like them. 

​

When I read a book it is like I am watching the whole book play out like a movie in my head.  This makes reading awesome.  But then if the book is turned into a movie it kinda kills me when the movie is drastically different.  Since I watched it in my head already.

I find myself screaming and talking to the characters from books like they are in the room with me and we are besties. 

​

I get very emotional about certain books and characters.  I can be reading and have to take a break because I start to get anxious and my heart starts racing. 

​

I know I love a book when I get upset at characters' decisions like they were close friends instead of fictional characters.

​

I have read books that I loved so much that when I noticed that I was almost done I start tearing up because I know the book is almost done. We are talking about actual tears of sadness.

​

Once I start to read a series and love it I have to complete it unless the next book is crap then I call it quits, but feel incomplete for a bit.
